      • Stored locally. Field rules and datasets are kept in Chrome's extension storage for this profile.
      • Nothing is transmitted. Imported data, shortcuts and what you type are not sent to the developer or anyone else.
      • Learning is off. Typio does not record what you type; learning is not available in this version.

      Site access

      Typio only runs on sites you allowed while selecting a field.

        Always blocked fields

        These checks run before every rule and cannot be turned off.

        • Password fields
        • One-time codes, OTP and verification codes
        • Card numbers, CVV/CVC and card expiry
        • PINs, secrets, API keys and access tokens

        Backup & restore

        Uninstalling Typio deletes its local data. Export a backup first if you want to keep it.

        A full backup includes field rules and datasets and replaces them on restore. A datasets backup (from Datasets & Shortcuts) only adds or updates datasets. Site access is never included; allow each site again when you select a field.

        Delete data

        Deleted data cannot be recovered without a backup.
